College classes
A student will likely have a lot of questions before going to college. What are the procedures that the professors use? How long are the classes, and how exactly do you "major" in a subject? Do you attend classes every day? What kind of classes do you have? Do they randomly put you in required courses like they do in high school? Or do you pick all of your classes by yourself?
The first thing a college student must do is choose a major. A major is what you choose to study in college, such as what you might want to be when you grow up. At Texas Tech University, there are over 200 different majors to choose from- anything from Computer Engineering to Animal Science to Japanese to Music. Once you decide on your major, you then figure out what its class requirements are.

Let's say that your major is Art History. A sample class schedule for the semester would be:
- 1. Introduction to Art
2. Design I: Introduction
3. Drawing I: Introduction
4. Art History Survey I
5. Technology in the Arts
6. English
